About Me

From Silence to Truth — Why I Created Breaking Free

There was a time in my life when I didn't have the words for what was happening to me.

From the outside, it looked like I was in a loving relationship. He was charming, attentive, and everything I thought I had been looking for. He made me feel chosen. Safe. Seen.

I believed I had found something real.

What I didn't realize was that I was being slowly pulled into something I didn't understand — something that would eventually strip me of my voice, my identity, and my sense of self.

I was in an intimate partner sexually abusive relationship.

And like so many women, I didn't see it at first.

It didn't start with abuse. It started with love — or what felt like love.

Survivor Stories

The bravest thing we do is tell the truth.

Real voices. Real healing. Stories shared with consent, in the survivor's own words — because being witnessed is medicine.

For nearly twenty years, I lived in a world where manipulation disguised itself as love and exploitation hid behind the appearance of a successful marriage.

The hardest part wasn't escaping the abuse. The hardest part was surviving what came after. What I eventually discovered was that I wasn't broken — I was wounded.

Now that she knows my truth and still stands beside me, I no longer feel the need to hide. I am free to speak my truth. Free to reclaim my voice.

Breaking the silence.

It's time to bring awareness to the realities of sexual abuse, exploitation, coercion, and healing. By exposing the truths that are often hidden, I help victims understand that they are not alone, their voice is powerful, and they can heal and reclaim their life.
